Why Therapy is Useful for Adults

Emotional distress can be caused by anything from work, to academia, to home life, to ill-health, and major life events. Psychological therapy helps address and work through the feeling of being stuck. Whenever there is a situation that seems impossible to handle or get out of, Therapy can guide you through that complexity and provide clarity. It can also help in dealing with chronic problems of everyday life as well as those acute and sudden life events that cause ‘breakdown’.
It is vital not to assume that one’s problem is too small to seek help for, nor to assume that the problem is too large and therefore unmanageable. If you feel worried, hurt, insecure, or clouded, then it is reason enough to take the step towards seeking mental health support. Being open to reaching out and letting a trained professional help you is the first step towards self-healing.

Areas of Focus

The therapeutic process pays attention to the narrative of personal, familial, and sociocultural DNA and influences. By exploring and addressing these experiences, Therapy helps clients weave in their insights from the past or reframe those experiences towards manifesting a more congruent Present. A present that orients the Self towards authenticity, personal agency and connectedness.
